What the call covers
No presentation and no discovery questionnaire. Four questions:
Where does your work come from now? Roughly, by source.
What happens when an enquiry arrives? Who sees it, how fast, what they do.
What have you already tried? And what happened.
What would a good year look like? In jobs or revenue, not in traffic.
Those four usually locate the constraint. It is rarely mysterious.
What the constraint usually turns out to be
In most Houston service businesses, one of five things:
- Nobody can find you. No rankings, incomplete Google Business Profile, no service pages.
- They find you and leave. Slow site, unclear service, no reason to call.
- They call and nobody answers. More common than anyone likes, especially over lunch and after five.
- They enquire and nobody follows up. The largest recoverable loss in most businesses.
- You cannot tell which is happening. No tracking, so every decision is a guess.
That fifth one usually has to be solved before the others can be, which is why tracking comes early.
What you get from it
An honest read on which of those applies to you, and what it would take to fix. If the answer is something you can do yourself for nothing, that is what you will be told — a fair number of these calls end with two things to fix and no proposal.
That is deliberate. A business that fixes the free things first and comes back later is a better client than one sold a package it did not need.
What to bring
Rough numbers: how many enquiries last month, roughly where from, how many became jobs. Approximate is fine. Nobody expects a report.
If you have those to hand, twenty minutes goes a long way.
Who this is for
Owners of Houston and South Texas service businesses who want a straight answer about what is not working. Not a sales presentation, and not a discovery process leading to a scheduled second meeting.
James answers the phone himself. You are not talking to an account manager who will relay it to someone technical.
After the call
If there is a fit, a proposal follows with the published rates — $2,500 to $12,500 setup, $750 to $3,500 a month — scoped to what was discussed. If there is not, you will be told that too.
Booking it
Call 832-338-2926, or send a note through the contact page and James will call back.
Frequently asked questions
What does the first call cost?
Nothing. Call James on 832-338-2926 — twenty minutes usually establishes what is holding the number back, and some of these calls end with two free fixes and no proposal.
What should I bring?
Rough numbers: enquiries last month, roughly where from, and how many became jobs. Approximate is entirely fine.
What does the constraint usually turn out to be?
One of five: nobody can find you, they find you and leave, they call and nobody answers, they enquire and nobody follows up, or you cannot tell which is happening.
Will I be talking to a salesperson?
No. James answers himself. There is no account manager relaying the conversation to someone technical afterwards.
